Todd R. Startzel

Todd R. Startzel is a principal of Kirkpatrick & Startzel, P.S. and has over 24 years of litigation experience. His active litigation practice focuses primarily on the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, product liability and multi-party complex litigation. Todd has tried verdict jury trials in almost every county in Eastern Washington. He also has argued over 30 appellate cases in both Washington and Federal courts.
Todd is a member of both the Washington and Idaho State Bars. He is also admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Todd is a member of the Washington State Bar Examiners Committee and an Adjunct Investigator for the Washington State Bar Disciplinary Committee. He is also a member of the Washington State Defense Lawyers Association.
Todd graduated with honors in 1984 from the University of Puget Sound, receiving a B.A. in economics. He graduated from University of Oregon Law School in 1987. He was a member of the National Mock Trial Team.
