Ryan D. Poole
Ryan Poole's practice focuses on civil litigation in the areas of serious personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability (slip/trip and fall) and insurance coverage. Other practice areas include commercial transactions, contract disputes and land use. Ryan also handles a wide variety of construction/construction defect and real estate cases representing general contractors, subcontractors and homeowners.
Ryan received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Idaho College of Law, and has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Colorado State University. Prior to law school, Ryan spent time working as a freshwater biologist/researcher and in business management. During law school, Ryan worked in student government and competed at the national level in moot court (quarter-finalist at the national competition, and “Best Oralist” recognition). Ryan also served as a Judicial Officer for the University of Idaho, completed an externship with a city attorney, and spent time as a law clerk for a trial judge.
Outside the practice of law, Ryan devotes most of his time and energy to his family. He has served as a volunteer coach in a variety of youth sports, and as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. The hobbies that he enjoys most with his family include traditional archery, flyfishing and camping.
Ryan is licensed to practice in all Washington State Courts and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Washington. He is also licensed in all Idaho State Courts, and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. He is a member in good-standing in the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), Idaho State Bar Association (ISBA), and Spokane County Bar Association (SCBA).
